Civil Society Forum Announces Rights and Principles for the Internet
The Internet Governance Forum (IGF), established by the World Summit on the Information Society, launched the 10 Internet Rights and Principles at the Expert Meeting on Human Rights and the Internet in Sweden. The document, which lists such goals as Universality and Equality, Accessibility, and Privacy and Data Protection, sets out ten key rights and principles that "must form the basis of Internet governance."
